  • Started the ‘Professional Songwriters’ Group on Facebook – been a huge succes so far – with some great writers onboard like Eddie Galan, Andrew Fromm, Keith Thomas, Desmond Child, Justin Timberlake, Vanessa Carlton, Vince Degiorgio – just to name a few ;-)
  • Scoring and sounddesign for many TV programs, idents & sounddesign for Dutch Nationalal TV, scoring computer games
  • Just came back from South Africa taping two tv programs in Richards Bay – amazing time with amazing team – lotsafun playing a grand piano on the beach
  • Exciting new CD projects coming up, to be recorded in Nashville later this year
  • Preparing writing trip end of April to Los Angeles

Spring 2010

  • CD Productions for Hansen Tomas, Fabian Willems & Theo Lens. For Hansen’s album we went to Nashville to record (again) with great players Stephen Leiweke, Ken Lewis and Chris Donohue. Fabian’s album is mixed right now in Nashville by Steve Bishir, and Theo’s album is gonna be mixed by Lee Bridges.
  • Co-writing with Andrew Fromm (who wrote hits for Backstreet Boys) and Brian White in Nashville (Febr)
  • Songwriting trip to Los Angeles in April/May
  • Scoring different TV Shows

December 2009

  • new songcuts with huge TV show in the USA (thanks to my co-writer Michèle Vice-Maslin), and a duet between Moire Brennan (of Clannad fame) and X-Factor winner Sharon Kips. I’m producing this album as well. Writers include Paul Field, Adrian Zag, Chris Eaton, Sharifa, Jurgen Perier and myself

  • Wrapping up Stonewashed CD. We started this project in Nashville (basic tracks recorded at Yackland Studio in Nashville), did all the arrangements, programming, vocals and overdubs at my studio in Leeuwarden, recorded guitars with at Robert Riekerk’s studio, and we’ll be mixing in Nashville with Lee Bridges (, who worked for Newsboys, Backstreet Boys, Paul Baloche amo
  • Starting new album of Sharon Kips
  • Arranged Strings for upcoming Blaudzun Album
  • Scoring & Sounddesign for ‘Z@PPLive’ TV
  • Frog & Friends is going around the world – Iran – Israel – Germany – Scandinavia – South Korea just to name a few..

Summer 2009

  • Very succesful songwriting trips to Nashville and LA. Written with Jeff Silbar (who amo wrote the evergreen ‘Wind beneath my Wings’), Michèle Sweet and Eddie Galan and his team, for very popular Disney artists, tba later
  • June will bring us to Nashville again, this time recording basic tracks for Stonewashed CD with friend & great guitarist Stephen Leiweke, Ken Lewis & Chris Donahue
  • TV and Film Scoring for National Dutch TV – OnTopiC, PraatjesMakers, OnAir, EOJD09, Verborgen Verhalen, Checkpoint amo
  • Jurying for XNOIZZ band battle and recording with the winner in Shamrock Studios in Baarn
  • cowriting for different Pop & CCM projects, with many fellow writers
  • straight after summer we’re off to Prague recording orchestra, and then back home to start several CD productions

Early 2009

  • Wrapping up music score and music production for the first 26 (!) episodes of ‘Frog & Friends’, for Telescreen/A-Film Estonia. This animation series are based on the world-famous ‘Frog & Friends’ books of Max Velthuijs. In the Netherlands this series is being broadcasted by KRO TV (KRO’s Kindertijd). The series will be broadcasted worldwide in many countries.
  • Writing with friends around the globe – Paul Field, Kees Kraayenoord, John Hartley, Chris Eaton, Lynette Wright, Michael Garvin, Tjeerd Oosterhuis, Bruce Smith, for different Pop and CCM projects.
  • Just back from a writing trip to Nashville, TN. Preparing songwriting trips to Sweden and LA.
  • Working on music for different upcoming TV shows.
